Our History

Navy Yard Industrial Campus occupies the site of the former Charleston Naval Shipyard, a critical military facility operational for nearly a century. Established in the early 20th century, the shipyard supported shipbuilding and repair operations until it’s closure in 1996. Since it’s revitalization, Navy Yard Industrial Campus has transformed the area into a thriving industrial hub with over 40 businesses, seamlessly blending historical significance with modern economic activity and contributing to the local community’s growth and prosperity.
